Sugar Land
My name is Cynthia L. Rojas, LPC. I was born and raised in Mexico and consider myself a Texan by heart. I obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Counseling from Houston Baptist University in 2017. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
Spending time with my family and building lasting memories is one of the things I enjoy. I am a wife, daughter, mother, and sister. During my time off, I go to church, watch a movie, or venture out of town. I love life and I make the best of every moment.
I’m passionate about helping couples and individuals to gain self-awareness and building skills to promote growth. I have always had a heart to helping others by listening to their stories and gain understanding about their joys and struggles in life.
My counseling approach is acceptance and commitment therapy which is one of the most advanced counseling methods. My approach for couples is Gottman method based on the advanced research to the treatment of couples. Counseling can be a term that not many want to think about, fortunately, you don’t have to be alone.
Throughout my counseling experience, I have worked with a variety of that include, children, adolescents, adults, and couples on topics such as divorce, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and social skills. I’m so glad that you have considered counseling to reach your goals and I can’t wait to see you! Whether this is your first time in counseling, or you have been in counseling before, I look forward to walking along side of you.
