Sugar Land Counselor-In-Training
My name is Sarai Quinteros, and I am a Counselor-in-training at District Counseling located inSugar Land. I will be under the supervision of Cynthia L. Rojas, MA, LPC.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Houston Baptist University in 2020. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same university. I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently.
In my personal life, I find joy in cooking and baking, traveling, meditating, catching up on my favorite television shows and movies, spending time with family and friends, and learning about new things.
Some events have occurred in our lives that we wish we never had to go through. Whether that is a traumatic experience or any other type of event, those experiences are enough to impact and follow us for the rest of our lives. From my own personal experiences, I have come to understand the importance and impact that mental health has on our physical and emotional well-being and life in general. My passion for helping others get through difficult situations played a part in my decision to become a professional counselor.
